Computers and Electronics

Did you know?

Did you know that a computer monitor contains approximately 4 kg of lead? It’s enormous!

Is it possible to recycle my old computer or DVD player?

Certainly! And much more!  Since March 30, 2017, RecycleNB has been responsible for several provincial recycling programs, including electronic products.

Here is a partial list of accepted materials:

Display devices (television, monitors), non-cellular telephones, audio/video systems, desktop computers, portable computers, computer peripherals (keyboard, mice), desktop printers, Home Theatre systems, cellular devices, etc.

For more information on electronics accepted at drop-off locations, click here.
