By-laws
The CSRNO is responsible for enforcing various regulations concerning land use planning, construction, and subdivision. The Urban Planning Act and the Building Administration Act provide a series of tools that guide community development and ensure that these bylaws are amended according to community requirements.
With a development plan, communities choose development guidelines to establish development provisions, which are included in a zoning bylaw or even a rural plan. The following are the tools adopted in our territory in relation to the Urban Planning Act and the Building Administration Act:
The agent is also responsible for coordinating other provincial legislation before issuing a development permit.
